Jimmy Eat World play Sandy Amphitheater Wednesday July 22nd 2026 as part of their 25 Years of Bleed American tour. The Mesa, Arizona quartet will play their classic, platinum selling album Bleed American in its entirety.
Supporting the band will be recently reunited and veteran pop- punk band, Motion City Soundtrack, who just released The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World in 2025 and GRAMMY award winning producer tender-punk artist, Illuminati Hotties, aka Sarah Tudzin.

Sandy, Utah gets a dose of 25 Years of Bleed American tour stops as Jimmy Eat World brings the 1999 release in its platinum certified form to Sandy Amphitheater on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2016. He’ll be joined by Motion City Soundtrack and Illuminati Hotties for a 6:00pm show.
The rest of the tour makes its way throughout North America playing Bend, Seattle, Vancouver and more before wrapping up. Due to overwhelming demand for the Sandy Amphitheater show an additional night has been added for Wednesday, July 21st with Jimmy Eat World, Motion City Soundtrack and Illuminati Hotties.
Arizona’s own Jimmy Eat World will be playing some of their best songs, including “The Middle,” “Sweetness,” “Pain,” and the title track of their iconic album “Bleed American.”
After being dropped from Capitol Records, Jimmy Eat World went on to release “Bleed American” independently. The album went on to get a Platinum certification from the RIAA, and is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums in the emo and pop-punk genre.
Motion City Soundtrack is a pop-punk band from Minneapolis, Minnesota that was formed in 1995. Their songs such as “Everything Is Alright,” “The Future Freaks Me Out,” “L.G. FUAD,” and “My Favorite Accident” express their struggles through music in hopes of connecting with fans who are going through similar situations and have found a way to cope through their music.
The band is currently on tour in support of their latest album, The Same Old Wasted Wonderful World, which is their 7th studio release. This album marks the band’s return to performing after a long hiatus, and the lead single “Everything Is Alright” has reached Gold status with the RIA.
Illuminati Hotties is the pop/rock alter ego of GRAMMY Award winning singer/songwriter Sarah Tudzin. The latest full length release, Power, is an awesome showing by the pop/rock powerhouse singer/songwriter for her fans as well as new fans everywhere showcasing her talented song writing skills while capturing the essence of mainstream popular songs that fans of all genres love.
The Sandy Amphitheater is located at 1245 East 9400 South in Sandy, Utah. The outdoor setting is a beautiful place to watch a show while taking in the view of the Salt Lake Valley. The Sandy Amphitheater has reserved theater-style seats or you can bring your chair and/or blanket to sit on the lawn. The venue holds a total of approximately 2,700-2,750 patrons and has plenty of ADA accessible seating.
