Mat Kearney – Nothing Left to Lose Everything to Gain Tour is coming to the Sandy Amphitheater on Friday, September 18, 2026. Joining the headliner will be folk/pop rising indie-folk/pop project, Joseph (comprised of sisters Natalie and Meegan Closner), for an evening of live music under the stars here in Sandy, Utah. 

Kearney, blends folk, pop and modern music to deliver a unique concert experience at each tour stop including Grand Rapids, Minneapolis, Chicago and Medford amongst others. The famous singer will be performing his famous songs, and iconic tracks from his album "Nothing Left to Lose Everything to Gain", celebrating 20 years of its legacy in his career.

About Mat Kearney

Oregon-native Mat Kearney has been expressing his soft rock, folk and hip-hop style of music since 2004. Now a Nashville resident, Kearney brings great emotion when he performs his biggest hits “Nothing Left to Lose,” “Closer to Love,” “Ships in the Night,” “Heartbeat” and “Hey Mama” every single time on stage.

Five songs from Kearney’s pop/rock repertoire have hit the Adult Top 40 Chart reaching the Top 20 with “Walk in the Sun” being his highest charting song peaking at #4. Mat has achieved gold and platinum awards for many of his songs and albums. Not limited to the pop/rock world Kearney has also received a Dove Award for his work in the Christian music world as well. Here’s a fun fact about Mat Kearney that you may not know about. Initially in college he wanted to pursue a career in soccer enough to earn an athletic scholarship to be able to play. In the end he found his true calling in life as a Musician/Songwriter. The stars definitely aligned 'cause we wouldn't be able to hear these charming songs if he pursued the ball.

Joining Kearney on tour is a rising indie-folk/pop project JOSEPH, brought to life by the sister-duo Natalie and Meegan Closner. Known for great vocal harmonies cinematic indie-pop-folk vibes as they get the beat going, you're missing out if you haven't heard of their music just yet. Sandy Amphitheater - Venue Information

With the Amphitheater being one of the best events and concert venues in the state, it has all types of seating from 2,000 reserved, theater style seats to approximately 700 lawn seats where guests bring in their own blankets and lawn chairs. The place can hold a total of 2,700 people for an event. With 27+ years of showing live music to Utahns, Sandy Amphitheater has great polished operations and a very friendly and fun atmosphere for all ages. A family friendly venue where everyone can have a great time.

The venue has full beverage service with a complete bar that serves up cocktails, wine and beer. Parking Information

There is FREE parking provided for patrons in two large parking lots. One is located just west of 9400 S and the other is located just east of 1300 E. The Sandy Amphitheater has also made arrangements for guests with disabilities by providing designated parking spaces for ADA guests.
