Legendary jam rock band O.A.R. brings The Three Decades Tour to the Sandy Amphitheater on Friday, August 21, 2026. For three decades O.A.R. has perfected their sound and will play songs from throughout their career.
From their earliest years as a band through to their multi-platinum releases of “Shattered (Turn the Car Around)”, “Love and Memories”, and “Heard the World” through to their most recent single “Where We Are Now” released in October 2025 off of their 2022 release “The Arcade”, O.A.R. has continued to evolve as musicians and as a band throughout their 3 decades of perfect music.
Join Singer/Songwriter Gavin DeGraw for an evening of Soulful Pop/Rock music. Known for a performance of his hits including, “I do not Want to Be” (platinum) and “Not Over You” (platinum). Grammy-nominated Singer/Songwriter Lisa Loeb will also be performing at the Sandy Amphitheater. Known for her Acoustic/Americana music and hits such as “Stay (I Missed You)” off of the Reality Bites soundtrack.

See 3 Iconic Singer Songwriter Perform LIVE at the Sandy Amphitheater on Friday August 21st, 2026. Show time is 5:30 PM. The Three Decade O.A.R. Tour is a national tour scheduled to play in U.S. Cities from June 2026 through November 2026 as the Maryland formed group celebrates their 30th year as a band. O.A.R. fans of all ages will have the opportunity to hear songs from all three decades of the band’s prolific career, at the beautiful, outdoor Sandy Amphitheater. Performances by all three artists will take place beneath the famous Salt Lake Valley views.
O.A.R. is known for their original blend of Rock, Reggae, and Roots music. They will play fan favorites and bring so much energy and enthusiasm to their live show. The band has been touring non-stop in addition to putting out new music and this is a special tour to celebrate their 30th year as a band. The Maryland based Rock band recently put out a new studio album, “The Arcade” (2022), as well as a new song, “Where We Are Now” (released October 2025). The band, comprised of 4 schoolmates who met in 8th grade when they played for a talent show at their school, have grown up to become a very accomplished band of musicians. O.A.R. has released 10 studio albums and have multiple multi-platinum, sold out tours, and multiple albums that have charted on the Billboard charts including their highest debut at #12 on the Billboard 200 chart with “King”.
Gavin DeGraw will bring emotional, mature and full music to the show. With songs like ‘I don’t Want to Be,’ ‘Chariot,’ ‘Not Over You’ he has hit the charts and earned platinum for his many Billboard songs. His music from the last few years has really taken a mature approach to song writing as seen in his 2022 album release Face the River. Modern pop-rock fans have been greatly affected by DeGraw’s music as seen in his many hits on the Billboard songs. Fans will remember his song ‘I don’t Want to Be’ from the hit TV show One Tree Hill and agree with Gavin that he received ‘insane’ recognition for it.
This evening of live music will feature Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb. She is known for her acoustic pop music that has topped the charts for decades. The audience can expect to hear such songs as “Stay (I Missed You)”, “I Do”, “Taffy” and many more. The singer/songwriter recently released her 2020 album “A Simple Trick to Happiness”. Lisa Loeb was the first artist to receive a #1 hit from a major motion picture soundtrack without being signed to a record deal. Her song “Stay (I Missed You)” from the film “Reality Bites” reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The concert will be held at the Sandy Amphitheater. The Amphitheater is located at 1245 East 9400 South in Sandy, UT 84094. The view of the Salt Lake Valley from the outdoor amphitheater is legendary. There are approximately 2,000 reserved theater style seats that will provide a very comfortable seating experience for the entire show. In addition, there is approximately 750 lawn seats that you can bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concert. The total seating capacity for the Sandy Amphitheater is 2,750 people. The venue also has a concession stand that has a variety of food items as well as a large selection of Coca-Cola products to satisfy your thirst during the show. Parking is Free for the Sandy show and there are 2 lots to park in. The first lot is West off of 9400 South and the 2nd lot is East off of 1300 East. There are also handicapped and wheelchair accessible parking spaces. There is a parking garage that is right next to the Sandy Amphitheater as well. The parking garage would be a great place to park and head off to the show from.
